and to the vegetal cortex at later stages .

Cortical rotation,  responsible for the reloation of dorsal
determinants from the vegetal pole to one side of the fertilised egg during the first cell cycle .

Mitosis related movements

which contribute to the progressive concentration of germ plasm around the vegetal pole of the early embryo
